Maheesh Theekshana, a Sri Lankan international cricketer, was born in Colombo on August 1, 2000. Theekshana is a right-arm off-break who has played for the senior national team in all forms. He plays for the Jaffna Kings in the Lanka Premier League and the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Theekshana was raised in Sedawatta with his grandmother, but they were asked to relocate to Kotahena for him to play school cricket for St. Benedict’s College.
