The M. Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium, also known as the Karnataka State Cricket Association Stadium, is a cricket ground located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It is the home ground of the Karnataka cricket team and the IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bangalore. This cricket ground is owned by the Government of Karnataka and operated by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). The stadium is named after a famous Indian cricket administrator and lawyer, Mangalam Chinnaswamy. In 1974, this venue hosted its first ever test match between the Indian Cricket Team and the West Indies Cricket Team, which was won by the visitors.
